John Lawless,
Great !A very good job! The story and setting were spot on, as usual for this author。 This is a very good read which makes you feel better than when you started the story。
Anthony R Woods,
An exceptional story。Life changes in a moment。 Cap heard a child's cry in the Middle of nowhere and it changed his life forever。 Great story mixed with adventure and love。 An exceptional story。Life changes in a moment。 Cap heard a child's cry in the Middle of nowhere and it changed his life forever。 Great story mixed with adventure and love。 。。。more

Good story from a great authorAnother good story from a great author。 I always look forward to reading stories from this author。 Strong characters, plenty of action and romance
Paul,
GREAT WRITER LOVE HIS BOOKS
ctrothschild,
Great book!I chose to give this book five stars because of the humanity shown by the lead characters。 True to western tales their was plenty of action and violence but goodness and humanity prevailed!
Norm S,
3 StarsAs I've said before C。J。 Petit is a good western writer but when it comes to romance he's not that good。 Cap made stupid blunders and was constantly jumping to the wrong conclusions dragging the story out。 I'm hoping that Cap hunts down Franz and beats the living tar out of him but instead Franz is captured by the Indians and it doesn't even tell us how he is killed。 Not enough action to much romantic miscommunication I'll give it a weak 3。 3 StarsAs I've said before C。J。 Petit is a good western writer but when it comes to romance he's not that good。 Cap made stupid blunders and was constantly jumping to the wrong conclusions dragging the story out。 I'm hoping that Cap hunts down Franz and beats the living tar out of him but instead Franz is captured by the Indians and it doesn't even tell us how he is killed。 Not enough action to much romantic miscommunication I'll give it a weak 3。 。。。more
Nita Miller,
CapAn unusual story of the West but interesting with history of the railroad and immigrants to America。 Story was hard to quit reading, wanted to know what will happen next。 With a touch of love and romance, very enjoyable to read。 Thanks Mr Petit for another enjoyable story。 Can't wait for your next book to come out。 CapAn unusual story of the West but interesting with history of the railroad and immigrants to America。 Story was hard to quit reading, wanted to know what will happen next。 With a touch of love and romance, very enjoyable to read。 Thanks Mr Petit for another enjoyable story。 Can't wait for your next book to come out。 。。。more

Cap’s Family。Another fun enjoyable story by CJ Petit。 Cap Taylor’s toughness and kindness are rewarded in the end with a loving family。 There is a lot of excitement as Cap goes against odds to finally ensure his new family’s safety and security。
Sandra Whittiker,
Cap Tyler was just me or those great old fashioned westerns。 Great to relax with when you want to visit bygone ages that could have really happened, at one time long ago。 The characters were almost as real as anyone today, that is what makes CJP such a good writer!! Great Read!!👍👍
Cody Meissner,
A bit different From most westerns。 Not a lot of action。 More of a romantic story。 Not really my cup of tea but I didn't hate it either。 A bit different From most westerns。 Not a lot of action。 More of a romantic story。 Not really my cup of tea but I didn't hate it either。 。。。more

Another great story by C。 J。 PetitI am always surprised at the different stories C。 J。 comes up with and this was grand。 I wish he would do another one about steamboats。 I would enjoy a tale of the area around the Yellowstone river
Lavina Miller,
Another wonderful bookC J Petit writes interesting and very entertaining books。 I have read all his books and have enjoyed every one of them。 His characters are such interesting folks and his plots catch your attention on the first few pages。 I can hardly wait for his next one。
Patricia Thayer,
One of my favorites。I've read all 76 of JC Petit's books, many twice and sometimes three times。 I love stories about the strong men and women who helped build our country。 I hope you have many more stories yet to tell。 One of my favorites。I've read all 76 of JC Petit's books, many twice and sometimes three times。 I love stories about the strong men and women who helped build our country。 I hope you have many more stories yet to tell。 。。。more

ImmigrantsA very nice immigrant story。 I also appreciated the inclusion of a bit of the effects that economic downturns had throughout the country。 One has to appreciate the hardships that people had in coming to America。
Jere R。 Hilland,
Waiting for the next one。。。。As always, action, yet a heartwarming story。 You get pulled into the hardships, story, time and place long forgot, by some。。。
Kimberly A Oliver,
